ABOUT:

J. Cameron Bailey, CFA

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bailey, most recently was the CEO of High Arctic Energy Services Inc., a company that operates and provides a range of energy services in Canada, the USA, and Papua New Guinea. With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Bailey has founded and led several Canadian and international E&P and oilfield service companies, including Nevis Drilling Systems, which was acquired by PHX Energy Technologies. He also served as a Board Member of PHX Energy Technologies until 2016. Additionally, Mr. Bailey founded Signal Energy Inc., Fortress Energy Inc., Alvopetro Inc. (Brazil), and Fortaleza Energy Inc. He has served on the Board of Africa Oil Inc. and Shamaran Petroleum Corp., and has been involved in various other public and private energy companies. Before founding these companies, Mr. Bailey worked as Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Peters & Co. Limited, gaining significant expertise in corporate finance and energy services.

Randolf M. Charron

Director

Mr. Charron is the President of Star Valley Drilling Ltd. since 2018 and has had a distinguished career in the energy industry. He founded Xtreme Drilling and Coil Services Corp. in 2005 and has served as an Independent Director of Phoenix Technology Income Fund (now PHX Energy Services Corp.) since 2002. Over the years, Mr. Charron has held board positions with companies like Drillers Technology Corp., Wrangler West Energy Corp., Savanna Energy Services Corp., NAL Canada West Inc., and Plains Energy Services Ltd., among others. He was also a Founding Director of Artisan Corporation from 1988 to 1997. Additionally, Mr. Charron held the position of Vice President, Marketing at Artisan Drilling Ltd. from 1988 to 1994.

Throughout his career, he has served on several committees within the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors. Mr. Charron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University.

R. Bradley Hurtubise MBA, CFA,

Director

Mr. Hurtubise has over two decades of experience in the energy and financial sectors. He was a Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets and an executive with Eaglewood Energy Ltd., a Papua New Guinea-based exploration and development company. He also held executive roles with Grad and Walker Energy Corp. and has extensive experience as a Director for publicly traded companies in energy, technology, and financial services. Mr. Hurtubise served as a Director of DirectCash Payments Inc. from 2007 to 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder. Mr. Hurtubise’s career is marked by his expertise in energy finance, corporate governance, and investment strategies.

John King,

Director

Mr. King is the Chairman of Cordax Evaluations Technology, a company providing specialized well logging services in the oilfield. Previously, he served as the President and CEO of Calmena Energy Services, a global provider of drilling and oilfield services. He also held senior leadership roles as the President of Weatherford’s Evaluation, Drilling & Integrated Services and as Senior Vice President of Technology Services at Precision Drilling. Earlier in his career, Mr. King worked as a private equity investment professional in the oilfield services sector with Onex Corporation and was a financial analyst in oilfield services at Peters & Co. Limited. With a background in both technical and financial aspects of the energy sector, Mr. King brings a wealth of experience in strategic growth and management.

ABOUT:

Neil Bothwell, CPA CA

CFO and Vice President Finance

Neil Bothwell is a finance and accounting leader with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector. Neil brings deep expertise in corporate finance, strategic planning, and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) programs, having held senior financial leadership roles across a range of energy and technology companies. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for public and private organizations including Gasfrac Energy Services and Wise Intervention Services.  In 2005, Neil founded Risk Oversight, a firm specializing in internal controls, internal audit, SOX/CSOX compliance, and broader GRC solutions. Under his leadership, the firm has become a trusted advisor to publicly listed, private and government organizations, delivering senior-level financial, audit and IT systems expertise.  Earlier in his career, Neil was a Manager with PwC, where he led audit engagements for both TSX- and SEC-registered companies. Neil holds the Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations, and his experience spans finance leadership, corporate development, risk management, and advisory services across the oil & gas, clean-tech and technology sectors.

Alu Ila (MSc)

Petroleum Geophysicist

Mr. Ila is a Petroleum Geophysicist with more than 26 years of experience in the public and private sector of the Oil and Gas Industry both locally and internationally. Mr. Ila has worked for the former Department of Petroleum and Energy of Papua New Guines and for small to medium Petroleum Oil Companies such as Cheetah Oil & Gas, TransEuro Energy, Rift Oil PLC, Talisman Energy and Horizon Oil Ltd. He has also provided private consultancy services to Searcher Seismic, Heritage Oil, Mineral Resource Authority (MRA), Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited (KPHL) in various roles and as a seismic project manager. Mr. Ila has worked in Canada, Australia and Dubai on seismic interpretation projects and as well as client representative on various seismic surveys. He is also proficient in Government and Community Affairs roles as he was the Community Affairs Manager for Horizon Oil Ltd. Mr. Ila co-founded EDMC (PNG) Ltd in 2014 to provide seismic services to the Petroleum Industry in PNG.

Peter Woyengu

Petroleum Geologist

Mr. Woyengu is a petroleum geologist with more than 30 years of experience in Papua New Guinea’s oil and gas industry having served in both government and private sectors locally in PNG and Australia. Mr. Woyengu worked with then Department of Petroleum & Energy for 13 years and then moved on to work with several petroleum companies who operated in PNG, including Rift Oil PLC, Talisman Energy Niugini Ltd and Repsol Oil & Gas Niugini Ltd. Since his last formal employment with Repsol, he has mostly been providing consultancy services to clients within the oil and gas sector and to certain extent the mining sector. He is also experienced in government relations and stakeholder management roles.

Peter Kogl

BEng (mechanical), MEng (petroleum)

Petroleum Engineer

Peter Kogl is a Petroleum Engineer with 30 years of experience in the public and private sector of the Oil and Gas Industry in Papua New Guinea (PNG). He started work as a mechanical engineer with Chevron Niugini on the Kutubu Oil project in 1993 and then shortly thereafter went to graduate school in the faculty of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Tulsa graduating in 1997. Upon return he joined the Chevron Niugini Kutubu Asset Team at a reservoir engineer until year 2000. Peter joined the former Department of Petroleum and Energy of PNG as the Assistant Director – Petroleum Engineering. In 2016 he resigned to form Energy Knowledge Partners Ltd, a private consulting firm. He has provided consultancy services to independent oil and gas companies in PNG as well as the department of Petroleum and Energy, Provincial Governments and Landowner Companies in the oil and gas sector. Peter has led technical negotiations for the State of PNG in the PNG LNG and the Papua LNG projects amongst others.
